PENGETAHUAN IBU YANG MEMPUNYAI BAYI TENTANG IMUNISASI DASAR LENGKAP

Abstract

Immunization is a way or passive transfer of antibodies. Immunization functions to actively increase a person's immunity against an antigen, so that when he is exposed to a similar antigen, he does not get sick. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that around 42% of infant deaths are caused by forms of infection, such as the respiratory tract, tetanus, sepsis, neonatal, meningitis, and gastrointestinal infections. The benefit of this research is that it can add insight and knowledge as well as valuable experience for researchers. This research is descriptive in nature by using total sampling with a sample of 32 respondents using a questionnaire which was examined based on age, education, occupation, parity, information sources. Based on the results of the study of 32 respondents, 3 people (9%) had good knowledge of the frequency distribution, the majority had less knowledge aged 26-35 years 17 people (53%), the majority had less knowledge with high school education 14 people (44%), the majority had less knowledge with 17 people (53%) are housewives, the majority have less knowledge with the parity of Skundipara mothers 10 people (31%), the majority have less knowledge with information sources Health workers 10 people (31%). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the majority of mothers who have babies have insufficient knowledge about complete basic immunization, so it is expected that mothers who have babies will increase their knowledge by seeking information about Complete Basic Immunization through health workers, electronic media, and print media.
