Pengaruh Sistem Teknologi Informasi Terhadap Efisiensi Pelayanan Kesehatan Rawat Jalan Di Puskesmas Hanopan Di Kecamatan Arse Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Outpatient services are one of the most widely used primary healthcare services, particularly at Community Health Centers (Puskesmas), the first-level healthcare facility. These services encompass a wide range of services, from general services, Maternal and Child Health (KIA), immunizations, chronic disease care, to dental and public health services. This study aims to analyze the influence of information technology systems on the efficiency of outpatient services at the Hanopan Community Health Center in Arse District, South Tapanuli Regency. The study used an analytical survey design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was all outpatients at the Hanopan Community Health Center, with a sample size of 50 respondents using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, observation, and documentation, and then analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 56.0% of respondents rated information technology-based services as poor, and 60.0% rated the efficiency of outpatient services as suboptimal. Statistical tests showed a significant effect between information technology systems and service efficiency (p-value = 0.003 < 0.05). This research resulted in policy recommendations and a conceptual model for information technology-based health services that can be implemented at the community health center (Puskesmas) level. It can be concluded that strengthening information technology-based public health services plays a significant role in improving the efficiency of outpatient services at the Hanopan Community Health Center in Arse District, South Tapanuli Regency.
